As Cream were in 1967, the three members of Cream´d: Ray Minhinnett - Gtr./vocals, Ian Ellis - Bass/Vocals, and Steve Dixon - Drums, are all highly respected performers, and rated as the best in their fields by their peers in the Music Industry, not only as Artists, and Writers, but also as Producers. Between them, they have played on a multitude of hit singles and Albums with Artists such as: Pete Townsend, Russ Ballard, Ian Gillan (Deep Purple), Frankie Millers´ Full House, Savoy Brown, Ray Davies, Chris de Burgh, The Sensational Alex Harvey Band. The list, and the pedigree is endless...

Lead Guitarist Ray Minhinnett, was nominated by the British Blues Connection, (the English arm of the U.S. Blues Foundation), for the Award for Best British Blues Guitarist along with Gary Moore, Rory Gallagher, and Eric Clapton himself. He also received the Award for Best British Blues Songwriter from Paul Jones on his BBC Radio 2 R´nB show for a song from his first solo album - ´Don't get mad, get even´ - this Album remained in the top ten Best Sellers, in the H.M.V./Our Price - Blues Chart for almost eighteen months...

He got his first guitar at the age of 13 and began teaching himself to play. From 1995 to 1996 he attended the Guitar Institute. He eventually abandoned his tuition and instead entirely devoted himself to gaining experience on the road.

Until the age of 21 this involved performing with Malone's band playing a mix of soul, funk and blues rock at hundreds of live gigs and music festivals around the country. He also features on Malones album 'One more time'.
