Scribble Victory

What’s a ‘Scribble Victory’?

Scribble Victory are a dynamic acoustic-pop duo from Derby, U.K. Formed in November 2013, they were featured in the top 120 ‘long-list’ for Glastonbury’s Emerging Talent competition 2015 and were listed as one of the top 50 acts to look out for in 2015 by Louder Than War magazine. The duo consists of Jamie Thompson (acoustic guitar and vocals) and Tomas Ward (drums and vocals).

“Incredible duo, tight harmonies and impressive musicianship. You’d almost think you were listening to a four piece band but then you open your eyes and realise that it’s two incredibly talented men creating that beautiful music.” - Emperor Penguin Productions

“When you first see that they only have a small setup of instruments, you don’t really expect too much, but the sound they produce is amazing.” - musingsfromthepit.co.uk

“They take folk music to places it’s never been before by introducing elements more familiar to lovers of American emo into an acoustic setting and it works magnificently.” - The Devil Has The Best Tuna

“Stripped back acoustic duo with some really beautiful harmonies happening across their tracks.” - Louder Than War
