Norm Archer
Norm Archer, pseudonym of Portsmouth rock handyman Will Pearce of Young Pretorians, Misgivings & Sombulance, known for his vocal harmonies, ear splitting guitar volume, melodic bass lines and enthusiastic stage demeanour. Norm normally creates tightly arranged solo indie noise pop, usually home recorded, sometimes with Ben Whyntie (The Old Blacksmiths Studio) on drums or other guests. The third album Verb is out now. A mix of power pop anthems, extended psychedelic jams, progressive song structures with wide ranged vocals and some surreal lo-fi moments thrown in.
