In 2024 Willie Dowling is releasing a new album of piano-driven songs titled ‘The Simpleton’, under the name of Willie Dowling & The Invisible Band.
Willie Dowling is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, composer and producer.
Over the years, Willie has fronted, written and produced albums for The Dowling Poole, Jackdaw4, Honeycrack and The Grip. Willie has provided keyboards, guitars bass and vocals, both on studio sessions and live, for a wide variety of artists including Dr Hook, Midge Ure, Hot Chocolate, The Wildhearts, The Quireboys, Shane MacGowan, Maroon Town and Andy Taylor.
Additionally, Willie is a renowned composer for film and television in a wide variety of styles and genres, ranging from electro-pop to full orchestral scores.
