The Allergies Live

“My pick for album of the year. This is truly funk and soul for the21st century!”- Craig Charles,BBC 6 Music The duo of DJ Moneyshot and Rackabeathave been delighting dance floors and lighting up radio airwaves since forming The Allergies and releasing their debut album in 2016. Their brand of feel-good funk and hyped-up hip-hop has seen them clock up A List status and numerous ‘Album of The Day’ gongs at BBC 6 Music, and soundtrack a whole host of international ad campaigns. Year in, year out they’ve sharpened their skills in thestudio, dropping one dynamite LP after another. And, 2024 sees them cut the ribbon on their seventh all star-album – Breakthrough. Full to the brim with party-starting heat, the record showcases their never-endingknack for turning out soul-sampling bangers, and deep infectious grooves. Due to popular demand, they’ll be assembling theircrack team of musical collaborators once more, and hitting the road with a high-octane live show to bring their music to life. Joining them on stage, as always, is LA rap legend, Andy Cooper. The mighty pipes of soul sensation, Marietta Smith. And the blazing horns of saxsupremo, James Morton. Together, they’ve earned a rep for their dynamite crowd-rocking. And, with this new material in thebag, it looks like they’ll be raising the roof even higher this year “We are slightly obsessed with this band. They’re utterly brilliant!” – Zoe Ball “Pure dancefloor gold” – Mixmag

Soul 45 DJs

There’s nothing like the depth and detail and sonic impact of a good vinyl record” says the SOUL 45 djs, Mark James and Disgo Dan, and they should know having championed the 7” format in Southampton and across the south over the last 10 years, bringing classic sounds to the forefront and putting vinyl back in the spotlight. With a large collection of records between them, their diverse sets have taken them to spin at clubs in New York, Los Angeles and allowed them to play alongside some big international artists including Roy Ayres, Trojan Sound System, Soul II Soul , Trevor Nelson, Hot 8 Brass band, Charli 2na, Public Service Broadcasting, Norman Jay, Eddie Piller, Craig Charles, Don Letts and DJ Format to name just a few. Their mission has always remained the same – paying tribute to forgotten and rediscovered Soul, funk Reggae and disco as well as stone cold classics you know and love . It’s an intimate dance party, driven by the warmth and richness of the 45 r.p.m. record – a complete custom-tailored night of music that doesn’t sound like anything else in the city.
