The Signatures are a popular ten-piece soul backing band, and official backing band for many original artists, including Tommy Hunt, Dean Parrish, Tobi Legend, Brenda Holloway, Spyder Turner, Jimmy Thomas, Pat Lewis, Ruby Andrews, Chairmen Of The Board FT Ken Knox, Sidney Barnes, Eddie Holman, Chris Clarke, Gloria Jones, Lorraine Silver, The Flirtations and Nolan Porter.
They can be seen across the UK playing at many music festivals, live music venues as well as hosting their own Northern Soul Live nights working with various DJ’s. As well as being featured as the house band on The Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show on BBC 6 Music.
Steve Ellis is the pioneer of British soul music, achieving great success through 60’s with The Love Affair with hits such as Everlasting Love, Rainbow Valley, and Bringing on Back the goods times to name a few. He has continued to captivate audiences around the UK with a string of theatre show tours of recent years as well as releasing his solo album co-written and produced with Paul Weller.
